What to Expect At Your First Visit

60 minutes: $105 initial
$90 follow up

Your First Consultation

Running at around 60 minutes, your initial consultation at our Melbourne acupuncture clinic will include a through lifestyle analysis as well as discussion of your health concerns and goals.

We take the time to fully assess your current state of health before suggesting treatments, which may mean asking questions that might not appear to apply to your condition. We might also take a look at your tongue and check your pulse to gauge initial indications on the energy flow or Qi in the body.

A treatment will follow in this initial consultation, and afterwards Farzaneh will spend time advising you on the optimum course of treatments that may assist in achieving your optimum health.

Follow Up Treatments

Given the holistic approach of TCM, no two treatments are ever the same, however most Acupuncture treatments insert anywhere between 4 to 15 needles and may last between 45 to 60 minutes.

After inserting needles and applying a heat lamp to the area relating to the Meridian channel being worked on, Farzaneh will leave you to rest in a softly lit room filled with the sounds of ambient music for around 20 minutes.

The effect of Acupuncture and Chinese herbs are cumulative and it may take anywhere between 2 to 5 treatments before changes can occur in the body.
